The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has found three golden mussel veligers in plankton samples collected from a dock at Lake Palmdale, which stores Palmdale Water District’s (PWD) water from the California Aqueduct and Littlerock Reservoir.

After voting Monday to fill the vacant Division 5 Director position by appointment, the Palmdale Water District (PWD) Board of Directors is accepting applications until Sept. 1, 2025.
The overall objective of the District is to make available the highest quality water at the lowest price.
