Palmdale’s skyline is looking a little different as Palmdale Water District (PWD) starts to dismantle the 237-foot-tall wind turbine that has been on its water treatment plant property on East Avenue S for two decades.
Palmdale Water District is accepting applications for its 2026 Rate Assistance Program (RAP), which will provide up to 700 eligible customers with a $25 discount off their monthly service fee.
Debbie Dino, an active community leader and strong supporter of Palmdale Water District (PWD), is the new Board Director for PWD’s Division 5. She was appointed with a 4-0 vote to the position formerly held by her late husband, Vincent Dino.
Palmdale Water District customers wanting detailed information about their water quality can now access the newest Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), which shows PWD’s water met all federal and state guidelines in 2024.
